The FEWS NET Seasonal Forecast Review presents assumptions of future agroclimatic conditions used in scenarios that project acute food insecurity. Several agroclimatology assumptions are presented for each of seven focus regions, which include East Africa, Yemen, West Africa, Southern Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, the Middle East and Central Asia, and Ukraine. Agroclimatology assumptions are based on the best available monitoring, forecasting, and physical process understanding of weather and climate conditions at the time they are created.
