If you’ve been looking to pick up a Nintendo Switch 2 in recent weeks but found stock limited, or you’ve been caught up in the (very justified) Donkey Kong: Bananza hype, then there’s good news.
Not only is the console back in stock at Target, but the retailer also has the Mario Kart World bundle, with both options being offered at MSRP and with delivery available for this week.
Switch 2 is Back In Stock at Target
Switch 2 had been easier to find than we anticipated ahead of launch, but the console has seemingly gained in popularity as word of mouth spread.
That makes a restock at Target worth covering, especially since you could order now and be playing the console within 48 hours with delivery.
If you’ve not been keeping up with things, the Switch 2 is a great console that improves just about everything from the 2017 original. It’s still a hybrid system, but now hits 1080p when playing portably on a larger display (although it’s not OLED), with 4K output when docked.
The included Joy-Con controllers are much more comfortable and now connect magnetically, while there’s a handy USB-C connection on the top for adding peripherals like the new camera, which can be used for GameChat.
As for Mario Kart World, our reviewer Logan Plant awarded it an 8 out of 10.
“Mario Kart World may not make the most convincing case that going open-world was the boost the series needed, but excellent multiplayer racing, incredible polish, and the thrilling new Knockout Tour mode still more than live up to its legacy,” he said.
Switch 2 Is Also Back at Amazon (Kinda)
Just in case you miss out on the Target restock, it’s worth noting that listings for the Nintendo Switch 2 and the Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle at Amazon now include a “Request Invite” button, signaling a soft rollout for direct purchases.
And according to IGN’s own data, Amazon has already begun sending out invites to buy daily.
That means the system is live, stock is moving, and your shot at securing the new console could be just a few clicks away.
If you want to avoid eBay scalpers or third-party markups, now’s the time to visit the listings and request an invite.
